Critical Eye Communications is an internet training and consultancy company supplying services to the library and information and cultural heritage sectors. Critical Eye Communications was founded by director Stephanie Taylor, who has over fourteen years experience in the UK library and information sector, both in Higher Education and then as project manager in the commercial software sector supplying the library community. Stephanie's current clients include Failte Ireland, and SINTO. She works with UKOLN in a research capacity, with an interest in the development of institutional repositories at local, regional and national levels.
Critical Eye Communications offers bespoke training for all levels of library staff, and consultancy services in the areas of information portals, repository implementation, electronic copyright, and implementing a digitisation project.
Critical Eye communications also offers training and consultancy in the best use of the new interactive communications technologies (Web 2.0) and making the best use of remote and collaborative working applications.
